Until our official site launches in March with the printed magazine this will be our temporary home to keep you up-to-date with the upcoming Jiu-Jitsu Magazine. We'll keep it simple here and try not to come across like an advertisement for the magazine.
To this point our only real promotion and communication with readers has been on our facebook page. www.facebook.com/jiujitsumag. I think right now we're at 5300 fans, very happy about that. Thanks everybody for following us. We've posted lots of questions, gotten lots of responses and just recently posted a survey. The responses on the survey have been really good and so far they've only confirmed what we've been working on in terms of what people want to learn and read about. So far we have a few articles written and are expanding our editorial staff. Speaking of which, we're looking for qualified contributing writers. More details on that soon.
This week we'll be completing our media kits and will be printing soon so that we can go out and sell some ads. This will be the fourth magazine launch of my 16 year career and selling ads is always the most challenging.
